You may have noticed that after completing the last few chapters of Sexbuzz, I have taken a break to work on some other short project. After finishing chapter 5 about a week ago, however, I didn’t really have anything else ready to go, so I decided to jump right into chapter 6 — but I hit a wall. I have a fairly good idea what needs to happen, and how, but the pieces just aren’t falling into place in a way that is satisfying. I knew I needed to take another break.

This November, I will be joining Derik Badman and others in drawing one comic per day throughout the month. I will of course be posting the results here…not every day, perhaps, but close to it. I have lots of different ideas for things to try, and I really hope I don’t crash and burn too badly. We’ll see.

So until Tuesday then. Hopefully I’ll have a new comic with me.

I haven’t read any comics for about two months now. Not at all. Really. This alarmingly short period of time is, I think, the longest I’ve gone without looking at any comics (except my own) for year and years. I’m sure your webcomic is great, but I truly have not looked at it. I said that comics and I were on a little break, remember?

I still not at all sure what motivated me to do this — the best explanation I’ve been able to come up with is that I have a mild cold compared to Dylan Horrocks’ pneumonia, although that’s not exactly right. I have no idea how long this ridiculous little experiment will bast, but I guess it’s going okay so far. I mean, I’m not getting the shakes or anything. At least not yet.
